Tissue and bone regeneration
A house will collapse if not build on solid grounds. Your teeth are endangered, if gums and jaw bones are not healthy. Because both are responsible for a tight hold of your teeth. Healthy gums and solid bones are also a prequirement for allowing dental restorations and dental- implants.
Infectious gingival should be treated right away. Otherwise in case of a progressive infection of parodontitis, the gums and also jaw bones will degenerate. Without an individually designed cure it will lead to tooth decay. This process can not only be stopped, but also in many cases the tissue and jaw bone can be reconstructed.
As a result the patient can avoid tooth loss. Biocompatible bone reconstruction material will be implanted in the bone. Subsequently the dental root will be covered with healing / aiding foil ( membrane). Now the bone can recover under the membrane, like being under a protecting umbrella.
The bone will regrow. After a while the membrane will disassemble by itself.
